Anti-Bullying Campaign

Bullying is a common experience for many children and adolescents. In recent years, it has escalated in alarming rates, from school hallways and backyards to chat rooms and various online outlets. We have seen children as young as 8 years old facing depression and in severe cases committing suicide because to them, the outlook is far too bleak. We have to think to ourselves, what is it about our society that implants such negativity in children, that they are driven to bully others or are targeted by bullies themselves? How are we going to stand up for every child who has been picked on, beat up, gossiped about and tortured because of being overweight, wearing glasses, presumed gay, the wrong skin color, being too skinny or just being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

This is more than name calling and physical intimidation, this is becoming a way of life. The time for change is now!

Journey Inc. has spent the last 2 years trying to inspire hope and wisdom for dreamers everywhere. Helping reintegrate adults into the workforce with its Journey To Success Program has been the major cause for this nonprofit; however in light of recent events, a campaign to stop bullying has now become its number one priority.
